High in the Andes Mountains of Cajamarca, Peru is a unique rainforest called the Selva Alta (high jungle). The area is known to locals as a “paradise of hummingbirds” for the more than 40 subspecies of wild hummingbird that inhabit the area. It is in this paradise that the Fuentes family cultivate a small coffee farm with the guidance and representation of a local cooperative known as El Palto. In the cup, you’ll find flavors of warm bosc pear and clover honey with a smooth and comforting body.
