The Kamwangi factory is a collection of smallholder farmers, proven to be extremely
consistent in their coffee quality and have notable practices of traceability and quality
control with their crops. Kamwangi has been Rainforest Alliance Certified since 1997
and use water-saving techniques like using and recycling fresh water in fermentation
tanks for later use in irrigation. In addition to their water conservation practices,
Kamwangi factory has begun using solar dryers to create a more stable drying
environment for their crops–especially in years where climate change has made
weather patterns so erratic. We hope you enjoy the differences between the two crops we were fortunate to bring to Novel this year!

The coffee is ground on our top of the line Mahlkönig EK43, which produces spectacular grind evenness and helps your coffee extract more fully and consistently.

Shipping Schedule

We roast on Monday and Tuesday and ship USPS priority. Orders placed after Tuesday will be filled immediately if we have the coffee on hand. Otherwise, your order will be roasted & shipped the following week.
