Peru Gracias a Dios
One of the seven provinces of the Amazonas region in Peru, Utcubamba is home to some of the most picturesque views in all of Peru. The rocky canyon walls created by the Utcubamba river shoot up to elevations reaching over 1700 meters. Here, the fragrance of fresh orchids rises with the gentle warmth from the hot springs and drifts through the coffee farms in the Gracias a Dios community.
